Brute de Forge Santoku

Status: Sold (plus S&H)  Another take on our successful and original Brute de Forge knives. After hearing that this knife is just too handsome to use, we have decided to make a knife that carries the beauty of the Brute de Forge, but make it a bit more robust for the owner that wants a beautiful but also a wonderful feel to this culinary knife. Accompanying this special knife is a black cushioned nylon and velvet case this just right for this perfected blade.

This knife is made from a chunk of 5160 High Carbon Steel. It was completely hand forged using fire, hammer and anvil. It retains its hammered marks while transitioning into a wonderfully ground and surfaced cutting edge. I piece of vintage black walnut complements the style of blade.  This has an extremely sharp blade that was processed on an Ameribrade Sharpener at 20 degrees to maximize cutting and durability. A beautiful and functional art piece designed to be used and hold a sharp edge! This will set your culinary experience apart from others.
